Looking for home and project studio near-field monitors can be quite daunting - there are many models on the market in the price range of up to $1,000. Wonderfully, some stand out from the rest, and the Gibbons are an excellent example! One of our staff favourites - the Monkey Banana Gibbon 5" - has just been reviewed by the guys at Mixdown Magazine! They have done a recent series on all different models of studio monitors so check out the reviews if you considering an upgrade. Excellent for home audio as well as home and project studios!

Monkey Banana Studio Monitors Review

We import many awesome brands, offering them direct to the public. Cutting out the middleman we can deliver awesome value. Monkey Banana is one such brand.

We've done countless showroom demonstrations of the 5" Gibbon series to many stunned customers. All expecting a dramatically higher price and looking for the non-existent subwoofer under the desk. Designed for monitoring and mixing, they have nice flat frequency response with settings at 0, though small tweaks to the high and low eq controls and assist with mixing different genres. While turning up the LF to +6dB gives enough bottom end punch to make you feel like you are in a club. Seriously impressive for a 5" studio monitor speaker.

Available in Black, Red & Yellow - sold in pairs at AUD $429.99
