The SWAMP KS01 is a double braced X-frame keyboard stand with a trigger-lever quick-release lock, so you can set the right height for seated or standing playing in seconds. Its steel double-X frame adds stability for lightweight portable keyboards and heavier digital pianos alike, up to its 20kg load capacity, and it suits 61 and 76-key keyboards and some 88-key models. When you're done it folds flat for easy transport and storage, making it a practical stand for home practice, the studio, rehearsals and the stage.
Double Braced for Extra Stability
Each side of the X uses two parallel steel braces instead of one, joined by the cross bars into a rigid double-X frame. Doubling the bracing spreads the weight of your instrument and cuts down wobble and sway while you play, which matters most when you're digging into a heavier keyboard or performing standing up. Non-slip rubber caps on the support arms and feet help keep your keyboard in place and the stand steady on a variety of floor surfaces.
Quick-Release Height Adjustment
The trigger lever on the centre hub works the quick-release lock, so height changes need no tools: release the lock, open or close the X to the height you want, and lock it again. Playing height runs from about 400mm to 850mm, and because it's an X-style stand the support arms spread further apart as you lower it, so the one stand suits seated or standing playing and keyboards and synths of different sizes.
Simple Assembly
The KS01 ships with its four cross bars packed separately to keep the box compact. They bolt onto the X-frame with the screws, washers and Allen key supplied, following the assembly diagram in the box.
Folds Flat for Gigs and Storage
Once assembled, the KS01 folds down flat, so it tucks away in a cupboard or behind a door and travels easily in the car with your keyboard to rehearsals and gigs.
