Artist AS82 River Burst S-Style Electric Guitar
Perhaps the most versatile, feature-packed electric in Artist's range, the AS82 wears a River Burst finish - transparent turquoise over flame maple with a white burst - and loads three Alnico V humbuckers with individual coil splits, a 5-way switch and a classic tremolo for practically any tone you can dream up.
Built for Lead Players
With 22 stainless steel frets along a gorgeous 14 inch radius rosewood fretboard, the AS82 is custom-made for the lead guitarists among you - a fretboard perfect for searing solos up and down a spellbinding quarter-sawn roasted maple neck. Premium locking tuners with white buttons, a bone nut and a wheeled string tree keep everything stable, while the classic tremolo with block saddles (tremolo arm included) adds expressive range.
Any Tone You Can Dream Of
In the neck and middle positions sit a pair of single-coil sized Alnico V humbuckers voiced for crystal-clear highs and a tight, responsive low end that sits superbly in any mix. In the bridge, a crushing 18.99K high-output Alnico V humbucker pushes the front end of your amp for tight compression, aggressive mids and sustain for days. Each pickup has its own coil-split toggle switch, which combined with the 5-way selector unlocks a huge matrix of sounds. Copper foil shielding and locking strap buttons round out a guitar where every detail has been pored over.
