The Artist AT69 in gloss Black is a thinline semi-hollow T-style with a poplar body, a single f-hole, a 3-ply tortoiseshell pickguard and a pair of stacked Artist Howler P90 pickups with push/pull coil-splitting. A roasted maple neck, bone nut, locking tuners and a string-through six-saddle hardtail make it an easy, reliable player for blues, rock and indie - great for beginners and experienced players alike.
Stacked Howler P90s with Coil-Splitting
Artist's Howler pickups are medium-output stacked P90s. In full stacked mode they deliver quiet, breathy blues tones that break up brilliantly when you push a cranked tube amp, and the push/pull pots split them for classic single-coil bite whenever you want more snap. The 3-way switch gives you the neck, the bridge or both together, so a wide range of dual and single-coil tones is always a moment away.
Thinline Semi-Hollow Build
The semi-hollow construction of the AT69's poplar body makes it a lighter alternative to a solid body, with the single f-hole giving it that classic thinline look. The controls are elegantly simple - a master volume and tone on the pickguard - so you can just strap it on, turn up your amp and let the AT69 do the rest.
Plays Well, Stays in Tune
The C-shaped roasted maple neck has a satin finish and a maple fretboard with a 305mm (12 inch) radius and 22 medium jumbo frets. A bone nut, locking die-cast tuners and a modern six-saddle hardtail bridge with the strings anchored through the body keep the AT69 performing as well as it sounds, staying in tune as you bend your heart out. It comes strung with D'Addario EXL110 10-46s and includes an instrument cable, picks and truss rod and bridge adjustment keys.
