The RD-3 Improves on its predecessors, the RD-1 and RD-2 with a fully detacheable lid, slimline format, angled profile when lying flat on the floor, detachable wheel mechanism, and weighing in at almost half the weight. This extremely durable yet lightweight hard case is designed pecifically with the touring musician in mind. Fitted with a detachable wheel and handle mechanism, and built to stand up to even the roughest of baggage handlers, the thick foam and carpeted interior will keep your pedal board safe and secure while on the road. It can also fit in many airplane overhead baggage storages, giving you the option of keeping it with you on the flight or tour bus and out of harm's way. If you're placing your valuable gear in the undercarriage, locking butterfly latches will deter wandering hands.

No Pedal Bridge Required
This case is designed as a hard case and pedal bridge all in one. With a removable lid andcarpeted interior floor with included velcro stripping, pedals can be mounted directly to the floor of the case, which can then be used just like a regular pedal bridge. The rubber feet are higher on the back than the front, giving an angled surface when placed on the floor, and the shallow base ensures pedals can be used without the case's rim getting in the way. To unpack, simply detatch the wheel and handle mechanism using the quicklatch buckle, and remove the case lid.

Recessed Extendable and Retractable Handle
One of the great things about the RD-3 is the extendable wheeling handle. Press the button and pull the handle up towards you. Fully extended, the handle will reach well above waist line, allowing you to easily wheel your case around without concern for injuring your back form lifting, or bending down to reach the handle. Then to pack away, simply push the button and retract the handle back into its flat position.
