Neutrik NE8MX6 Self-Termination CAT6A etherCON Plug
The Neutrik NE8MX6 is a complete etherCON CAT6A cable connector that you terminate onto your own network cable: a robust nickel-plated metal shell, Neutrik's proven chuck-type strain relief and a CAT6A-compliant RJ45 plug in one set. It is the version for heavier cable, suiting overall diameters of 7 to 9.5 mm with wire insulation of 1.1 to 1.6 mm, and it supports PoE++ to IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 for touring, broadcast and installed networks.
Choose the Right Version
Neutrik makes two versions of this connector. The NE8MX6 is for wire insulation over 1.1 mm (1.1 to 1.6 mm), as found on heavier-duty CAT6A and tactical touring cables, and takes solid AWG 24/1 to AWG 22/1 or stranded AWG 24/7 to AWG 22/7 wire. If your cable's insulation is 1.1 mm or less, choose the NE8MX6-T instead.
Rugged and Lockable
The zinc diecast shell and chuck-type strain relief protect the termination from pulls and knocks, and the million-fold proven latch lock keeps the connection secure. The NE8MX6 intermates with the existing etherCON CAT5 range and is IP65 protected when mated with Neutrik's sealed NE8FDX-P6-W or NE8FDX-Y6-W chassis connectors. Neutrik's HX-CAT6A parallel press tool and HTXX-14 bushing tool are available as accessories for assembly, and XXR coloured coding rings fit for quick cable identification.
