The New NUX ACD-006A 9V DC 500mA switching power adapter is highly efficient to use with guitar pedals. It has a switching regulator in order to control the conversion of electrical power. Stabilising the voltage is very important for the pedal.
Save your batteries!! The ACD-006A is the ideal power supply for ALL 9V pedals requiring 500mA and under. Stable and clean.
The plug size is the common size found on guitar effect pedals (2.1mm x 5.5mm), suiting almost all brands including Boss, Daphon, Vox and Behringer. With 500mA of current this power supply can power many pedals at the one time with the use of a daisy chain cable.
Suitable as a replacement for the Boss PSA-240 power supply. There is no potential issue with the MOEN unit outputting 500mA, compared to the PSA-240's 200mA. It simply means there is extra current (mA) available for you connect multiple pedals using a daisy chain.
