Saramonic WiTalk9X SMH Single-Ear Master Intercom Headset
The Saramonic WiTalk9X SMH is the single-ear master headset for the WiTalk9X wireless intercom platform - the orange-headband unit that runs the system. Use it to build a system around individual remote headsets, run a second independent channel alongside an existing set, or replace a master. It pairs with up to 8 WiTalk9X or WiTalk9 remote headsets for full-duplex talk among up to 9 users, no hub required.

The Master Runs the Show
One master headset anchors every hub-free WiTalk system. Press and hold its volume knob for Announce mode - a broadcast to every headset while the remotes are temporarily muted - perfect for calling cues. The master is also the Saramonic App connection point, giving you battery monitoring, noise-cancelling mode switching, one-to-one talk, renaming and OTA firmware updates for the whole system, and its orange silicone headband makes the crew leader easy to spot at a glance.

ClearTalk 2.0 AI Noise Cancellation
A dual-microphone array (cardioid voice mic plus omnidirectional ambient mic) feeds Saramonic's first true AI noise-cancelling chip, trained on more than 700,000 noise samples across 20,000+ hours of deep learning. It removes up to 40dB of background noise in real time while keeping voices natural, with Natural and Noise Reduction modes to suit the environment.

Single-Ear Awareness and Comfort
At approx 172g with battery, the single-ear WiTalk9X keeps one ear open to the room - ideal for directors, stage managers and coordinators who need the intercom and their surroundings at the same time. Quick-detach silicone cushions and temple pads and a high-strength alloy headband keep it comfortable across long days, and the modular design converts to dual-ear or helmet-ready wear with conversion components sold separately.

One Platform, Every System
WiTalk9X headsets interoperate with WiTalk9 headsets in the same system (keep all headsets on the latest firmware), and any WiTalk9X master also anchors mixed fleets of single-ear, dual-ear and helmet-ready remotes. Whatever the mix, ClearTalk 2.0, encrypted 1.9GHz DECT and up to 400m line-of-sight range stay constant across the fleet.
