Drum hoops are used to secure and tighten a drum skin over its shell. This 12 inch hoop is designed for a tom drum. Using a set of drum lugs and claws, the hoop is pulled over the top of the skin to stretch it across the shell.

Drum hoops are used to secure and tighten a drum skin over its shell. This 12 inch hoop is designed for the bottom or top side of a 12" tom drum. Using a set of drum lugs, the hoop is pulled over the the skin to stretch it across the shell. Tightening the hoop further using the lugs will give a higher, tighter tone, allowing the drummer to tune as desired. High quality die cast steel, at 3.5mm thickness. The hoop features 6 holes.
