Artist ABJ42 Acoustic Electric Bass Guitar - Black
The Artist ABJ42 is a 4-string acoustic bass in a sleek gloss black finish with cream binding, pairing a laminated spruce top with sapele back and sides for warm, punchy low-end tone. A Fishman Isys preamp with built-in tuner delivers reliable amplified sound on stage, while the ergonomic cutaway keeps the upper frets within easy reach.
Unplugged Volume, Stage-Ready Tone
The ABJ42 brings some much-needed low-end to the campfire strummers! Its laminated spruce top and sapele back and sides produce plenty of unamplified volume, and when you need a little more grunt the inbuilt Fishman Isys preamp offers fantastic amplified tone, with the built-in tuner keeping you pitch-perfect between songs. Whether you're plucking around the campfire or stepping onto the unplugged stage, the ABJ42 is the perfect option for gorgeous low-end tones with a little less attack.
Comfortable, Solo-Ready Playability
A comfortable okoume neck is topped with a high-performance eco-rosewood fretboard and 20 nickel frets, while the ergonomic cutaway allows upper neck access for bass solos aplenty. The dovetail neck joint offers serious sustain and premium resonance, and the eco-rosewood bridge delivers incredible stability in all conditions.
