The Artist GM1 carries on Artist's Grungemaster offset design, finished in clean White with a red tortoiseshell pickguard and a pair of cream-covered Artist Howler P90 pickups. Built for bold tone across rock, blues, grunge and metal, it pairs a solid poplar body with a Canadian maple C-profile neck, a bound eco-rosewood fretboard with pearloid block inlays, and a tune-o-matic bridge with stop-bar tailpiece for punchy sound, sustain and reliable tuning.
Howler P90 Growl
Loaded with two Artist Howler P90 pickups, the GM1 delivers a powerful midrange with plenty of growl and bite, ideal for distorted tones without sacrificing definition. The 3-way selector switch on the upper horn gives quick access to the neck, the bridge or both pickups together, and cream volume and tone knobs keep the controls simple.
Resonant Body, Comfortable Neck
The solid poplar body and bolt-on Canadian maple neck deliver a resonant, punchy sound with excellent note clarity and sustain. The neck's comfortable modern C profile suits both rhythm and lead playing, and the bound eco-rosewood fingerboard carries 21 medium jumbo frets with pearloid block inlays for easy fret navigation and a classic look.
Hardware for Tuning Stability
A chrome tune-o-matic bridge with a stop-bar tailpiece improves tuning stability, sustain and precise intonation, while vintage-style chrome machine heads give smooth tuning action. Whether you're playing live, recording or practising, the GM1 has the tone, feel and features to perform with confidence. It comes strung with Artist 10-46 strings and includes an instrument cable, picks and truss rod and bridge adjustment keys.
