The ATH-G1WL delivers an incredibly immersive in-game experience with lag-free, dependable, real-time wireless operation in the 2.4 GHz range. A selectable virtual surround sound mode further puts you in the action with breathtaking, in-the-game sound. The internal battery allows 15 hours of continuous gaming on a full charge, and the headphones can be used while charging. Large-diameter 45 mm drivers are specially tuned to bring Audio-Technica studio-quality sound to your gaming. A state-of-the-art flexible (and detachable) boom microphone with highly directional pickup provides crystal clear in-game communication and live streaming audio. Microphone monitoring capability lets you listen to your own voice for improved communication in intense gaming situations. Mute, volume, and surround sound controls are conveniently located on the earcup for easy access.
Great Build Quality
Strong, lightweight metal headband construction with a breathable headband pad and earpads provide supreme comfort through even the longest gaming sessions. But don’t think these headphones are only for gaming because once the detachable mic is removed, the headset doubles as a pair of portable, high-fidelity headphones for on-the-go listening. The earpads and headband pad are also detachable for easy replacement.
