VT Virtual Tone Series
The Black Diamond VT Virtual Tone Series strings were designed with a tuning stability that all players seek. Made with a high-carbon steel hex core and wrapped with USA nickel plated steel, Black Diamond's set of electric strings provide excellent tonal quality with a high degree of tuning stability. After the manufacturing of the natural uncoated string, the Black Diamond strings are put into a high-pressure spray booth which sprays a micro mist. The proprietary environmentally safe coating adheres to the outer wound strings, then seeps into the crevices. This treatment not only adds to the life of the strings, but makes for a smoother feel. Although a micro coating, these strings sound natural. The speed, pitch, and tension specs in which these strings are made result in a string that has exceptional tone, projection, and sustain.
Corrosion Resistant
Every string in this set is corrosion protected by a volatile corrosion inhibitor (VCI) substance that will slowly volatize and release compounds within the sealed airspace of the packaging. It actively prevents surface corrosion of the metal to ensure longevity and freshness every time!
