Audio Adapter - Ground Lifter - XLR male to XLR female
Swamp GROUND LIFT XLR Adapter - XLR(f) to XLR(m)
Swamp's Ground Lift adapter performs the function of "lifting" the ground/earth signal, so it is not transferred through the adapter.
Solve Ground Loop Noise Issues
Ground loops can occur when audio equipment is connected together through audio cables, but connected to a different mains power circuit, resulting in 1 device seeing a "lower resistance to ground", and now instead of the shields providing defense against interference, they are carrying 60Hz AC and radiating that directly into the conductors. That said, ground loops can also occur with equipment on the same power circuit, due mainly to a difference in the power supply design.
Perfect for Passive Splits
A passive split of microphone signals can often result in 1 signal being sent to a mixing console (perhaps side of stage for monitoring) in a different location. This opens up the possibility of ground loops and is where a ground lift adapter is an invaluable tool to have.

ExcellentBy: Anonymous on 27 June 2017So I was experiencing bad monitor buzz on my yamaha hs8's only with heavy graphic games/applications. Tried a bunch of "solutions" but none worked, saw a recommendation on a forum for these so I though I'd try them out. Amazon has some from Hosa but the reviews were mixed so I went ahead here on swamp. Put these bad boys inbetween the audio interface output and sub input and completely got rid of the buzz with no quality reduction. Now I can game with my monitors and not experience any annoying buzzing. Swamp is also really good, order came quick (australia to us) and I'm quite happy with my purchase. Ordered another set for a friend in the same boat as me.
