With Plug and play, no drivers needed, and Tool-Free installation, this 2.5" External Hard Drive Enclousre easily connects your 2.5 inch SSD or HDD to PC, laptop, PS4, Xbox for data transfer or expanding storage. Equipped with soft EVA foams on inner sides, it protects your hard disks from improper shaking and scratches, and makes SATA hard drive portable for data store. It is awesome for booting up old hdd/ssd and recovering important files from a broken PC. The maximum data transfer speed of the USB 3.0 interface is 5Gbps. The SATA interface of this enclosure supports UASP accelerated transmission protocol, 70% Faster than conventional USB 3.0 when connected to a computer that also supports UASP. Backward compatible with USB 2.0 or 1.1 ports.

Tool free installation. Plug & Play, No driver needed for this SATA enclosure. Just push out the cover, plug in the drive, close the cover and go. Hot-swap supported. No request for extra power supply. (Please click "Safely Remove Hardware" icon on your PC first then unplug it to avoid data loss when complete usage).

Note:
- No more extra driver for Windows, Linux, Mac OS 8.0 and above operating systems but please make sure your PC has installed USB 3.0 driver for USB 3.0 port.
- Product supports UASP. To achieve UASP function, please make sure your PC PCIE USB 3.0 driver supports UASP and use UASP-enabled devices, as well as UASP supported operating systems.
- Only Mac OS X 10.8 or newer and Windows 8 or newer operating systems can support UASP.
- Win XP 32bit system does NOT support 2TB above HDD.
- Please use Safely Remove Hardware on your PC first before you unplug this product.
