The Radial DiNET DAN-TX2 is a 2-channel analog-to-digital converter that effortlessly brings analog audio sources into a Dante or AES67-compliant network, providing high-quality, low-latency audio transmission in professional audio, broadcast, live sound.
Digital Audio Distribution
The Radial DiNET DAN-TX2 is a compact stereo direct box designed to easily connect line-level sources such as laptops, smartphones, tablets, and professional audio equipment directly to a Dante-enabled network. It features dual XLR inputs with a stereo link option, balanced ¼” TRS inputs, and a 3.5mm stereo jack, making it highly versatile for different devices. With support for up to 24-bit/96kHz audio, it ensures pristine sound quality while maintaining low latency across the Dante network. Rugged and portable, it’s ideal for both live sound and installed AV systems where reliable, high-quality audio integration into Dante is required. The DAN-RX2 can be mounted in 19" equipment racks with the optional SA series rackmount adaptor kit.
Applications
- Using the DAN-RX2 to connect a small PA system - Quickly route a stereo feed to small PA systems in overflow rooms or remote locations within the venue.
- Using the DAN-RX2 for press distribution - Press recorders are often placed in different rooms away from the live event. The DAN-RX2 provides an easy way to send audio to these rooms to connect directly to a recorder or to feed a press box when necessary.
- Using the DAN-RX2 for personal monitoring - The dedicated headphone outputs on the DAN-RX2 allows it to be used as a personal monitoring system. The sound engineer can create a unique mix for musicians, producers or any other event staff that need to monitor a feed in any location on the network.

- Accepts a variety of sources via: Dual XLR/TRS combo jacks (balanced), RCA jacks, 3.5 mm TRS aux input (ideal for laptops, tablets, smartphones)
- Processes audio at up to 24-bit / 96 kHz for pristine sound quality
- Handles signals up to +24 dBu (some sources note +28 dBu maximum) to accommodate hot pro-level signals
- Features trim controls (±10 dB gain), –18 dB pads, and a Link switch to tie both channels to Channel 1 for stereo control
- RJ45 EtherCON jack ensures a robust network connection resistant to accidental disconnection
- Powered via PoE (Class 1) or included 15 V DC adapter, and both can be used simultaneously for redundant power capability
