The DPA240A is a DSP management system that offers high quality 24-bit digital EQ processing and matrix routing of 2 IN and 4 OUT channels. The DPA240A provides the functionality of an external crossover and EQ for main FOH speakers. The highly versatile and configurable EQ options allow control over both the input and output channels. In-built crossover filters with slopes such as Butterworth and Bessel make it simple and setup a basic tune. The DPA240A can connect to any computer via USB to run the software control application, allowing you to control all parameters via a computer connected via USB.

Speaker Processing - USB Controllable
With its Matrix routing capabilities, the DPA240A is capable of being used as a Stereo 2-way or crossover for PA systems running subwoofers. Two outputs are routed to one input, and then a 7 Filter Parametric EQ is used to create the frequency slopes, notches and add high/low pass filters for the signals being sent to the sub and FOH / top speaker. Other parameters such as gain, noise gates, compression can then be applied to each output, or input as desired. The DPA240A is easily controlled by a computer running Marina's DSP control software which can be connected via a USB or RS485 connection.

Parametric EQ - Controlling Foldback Monitors
The DPA240A can be used as a detailed EQ, say on foldback sends etc. Sometimes giving a musician a customised EQ for their foldback, is just as important as getting the levels right in their AUX send. A simple boost to the right frequencies can lift the particular musicians sound out from the mix, whilst not removing the other performers.

RMS Limiter
Using the RMS limiter can help control energy levels in a venue and maintain a more constant SPL. It will also help to protect the amps and speakers from signal peaks caused by DJ's and untrained venue users.

Configurable Delay
A configurable delay is available on each channel, adjustable in 21us increments / decrements. The delay feature is useful for 'delay towers' at large concerts, or in venues where speakers are vastly separated. A finely tuned delay configuration ensures speakers are 'in phase' with each other in the desired listening spaces.
