The Proel MQ16USB is the flagship of the MQ series: a 16-input analog mixing console with 12 low-noise mic preamps, a built-in USB audio interface and 100 studio-grade 24-bit effects. Eight mono mic/line channels and four stereo mic/line channels give a full band room to plug in, while sweepable mid EQ, one-knob compression and four aux sends deliver the control bigger shows demand - all in the same rugged, road-ready metal build as the rest of the range.

Twelve Mic Preamps for the Whole Band
Channels 1 to 8 are mono mic/line strips with high-headroom preamps, a 75Hz low-cut filter (18dB per octave) and Proel's one-knob FET compressor with LED indicator - a single dial that tames vocal peaks or adds punch to kick and bass without outboard gear. Channels 9/10 through 15/16 are four stereo mic/line channels that each take a microphone or a stereo source such as keyboards or playback. That is double the mic count of the MQ12USB, with +48V phantom power on board for condenser microphones.

Sweepable Mids for Precise EQ
Every channel carries a 3-band EQ with 12kHz high and 80Hz low shelves. On the eight mono channels the mid band sweeps from 100Hz to 8kHz, so you can find exactly where a vocal, guitar or snare sits and cut or boost right there - the kind of control usually reserved for larger consoles. The stereo channels use a fixed 2.5kHz mid voiced for keyboards and playback sources.

100 Studio-Grade Effects On Board
The DFX section runs 24-bit converters and DSP with 100 presets covering halls, rooms, plates, mono and stereo delays, flanger and chorus, plus combined reverb effects. A 2-digit display and push-to-select dial make preset changes quick mid-set, a dedicated FX fader rides the effect level in the mix, and a footswitch jack mutes the effects between songs.

USB Recording with Flexible Routing
The rear USB port is a 16-bit/48kHz stereo in/out audio interface, joined by 2TRK RCA inputs and outputs in the master section. Route USB or 2TRK playback to the main mix or to channels 15/16, choose either the main mix or aux 1-2 as the feed to the record output, and cue incoming audio through the control room and headphone outputs - flexibility that makes recording gigs and running interval music genuinely simple.

Monitor Sends and Group Routing
Aux 1 and 2 are always pre-fader and aux 3 switches pre/post per channel, so you can run up to three independent monitor mixes to stage wedges or a headphone amp for in-ear monitoring. Aux 4 feeds the internal DFX and doubles as a post-fader send for external processors. A stereo group bus with dedicated faders and outputs handles sub-grouping, smooth 60mm faders give finer level control, and PFL soloing, control room and headphone outputs and dual LED meters round out a proper front-of-house feature set.
