The Proel MQ12USB is a compact 12-input analog mixing console with a built-in USB audio interface and 100 studio-grade 24-bit effects. Four mono mic/line channels, two stereo mic/line channels and two stereo line channels - six low-noise mic preamps in all - cover vocals, instruments and playback sources, making it an ideal all-in-one desk for small gigs, rehearsals, home recording and podcasting. Like every mixer in the MQ series, it is built into a rugged metal chassis that is ready for life on the road.

Six Low-Noise Mic Preamps with One-Knob Compression
Channels 1 to 4 pair high-headroom mic preamps with Proel's one-knob FET compressor: a single dial with LED indicator that evens out vocal levels and adds punch to bass, guitar and drums without any outboard gear. All six mic inputs run +48V phantom power for condenser microphones, and every mic channel carries a musical 3-band EQ (12kHz high, 2.5kHz mid, 80Hz low). A 75Hz low-cut filter (18dB per octave) on the mono channels clears out stage rumble and mic handling noise before it reaches your mix, while the stereo line channels 9/10 and 11/12 offer hi/low EQ plus both jack and RCA inputs for keyboards, phones and media players.

100 Studio-Grade Effects On Board
The DFX section is a 24-bit digital effects processor with 100 presets: lush halls, rooms and plates, mono and stereo delays, flanger and chorus, plus combined reverb effects. Presets are picked on a 2-digit display with a push-to-select dial, a dedicated FX fader rides the effect level in the mix, and a footswitch jack lets you mute the effects between songs without taking your hands off your instrument.

A USB Audio Interface Built In
Connect the rear USB port to a Mac or Windows computer and the MQ12USB shows up as a standard USB audio device - no drivers needed. The 16-bit/48kHz stereo interface records your main mix straight into your DAW, perfect for capturing live sets, band practices and podcast episodes. Flip the LINE/USB switch and computer playback returns through channels 11/12, so backing tracks and break music come up on their own fader.

Flexible Routing for Stage and Studio
Aux 1 is a monitor send with a per-channel pre/post switch - run it pre-fader for stage wedges or a headphone amp, or post-fader as a second effects send. Aux 2 feeds the internal DFX and doubles as a post-fader send for external processors. A stereo group bus with its own faders and outputs lets you sub-group drums or vocals, or feed a recorder or second zone, and PFL soloing, control room and headphone outputs plus dual LED meters keep monitoring simple.
