The PS-30 is an unobtrusive, easily positioned clip-on small diaphragm condenser microphone perfect for use with brass instruments, drums, and even as a lapel mic. Using the rubber and plastic clip , this mic is easilty attached to an instrument without the need for mic stands, facilitating the use of close mic techniques in recording and live applications.

Unidirectional Condenser for Close mic'ing
The PG-30 is designed for close mic'ing acoustic instruments. With a unidirectional polar pattern, the condenser will reject most unwanted sounds and only pick up the sound directly in front of the capsule, thus ensuring clarity and focus of the instrument without the noise generated by external sources.

Clip On and Position
With the tight, solid and sturdy spring loaded clip, the PG-30 can be attached to the lip of brass instruments such as a saxophone, the head, rim or lugs of drums, the sound hole of a guitar, a thin instrument or music stand and even the lapel or pocket of a jacket. With an adjustable, flexible gooseneck style arm, the mic can be positioned as close to the source sound as required, to obtain the bet possible reproduction of the instrument through a PA or in a recording.

Option for Wireless or Wired connection
The PG-30 comes with a mini XLR attached to the cable, which presents the option of using the mic as a wireless option, by connecting to any Pasgao body pack with a mini XLR input that transmits to a receiver. Alternatively, connecting the standard XLR adapter supplied, to the mini XLR will allow the PG-30 to plugged directly into a stage box, mixing desk or XLR microphone cable when used in a fixed position. This is the preferred method when using the mic on drum kits and acoustic guitars.
