The Soundking CXA051 connects a USB-C phone, tablet or laptop straight to professional audio gear. Its built-in 24-bit/96kHz DAC converts your device's digital audio to a clean balanced mono signal on an XLR male plug, with a volume knob and ground lift switch on the compact aluminium body - no batteries or phantom power required.
Clean Digital Conversion, Balanced Output
Consumer headphone outputs are unbalanced and pick up noise over long cable runs; the CXA051 skips them entirely, taking digital audio over USB-C and converting it with a 24-bit/96kHz DAC. The stereo source is summed to a single balanced mono XLR feed (the unit is labelled STEREO IN / MONO OUT), and transformer isolation keeps the signal clean into mixers, powered speakers and PA systems. If a ground loop does cause hum, the GND LIFT switch breaks it at the press of a button.
Plug-and-Play Simplicity
Power comes from the connected device itself, so there is nothing to charge and no phantom power to switch on - plug the 1.5m captive USB-C cable into your device, the XLR male plug into a spare mixer channel or speaker input, and set the level with the volume knob. At around 100g in a rugged black aluminium housing, it lives happily in a laptop bag or console drawer - handy for live sets, mobile DJs, backing tracks, presentations and installed systems.
